Drop in Classes: Lyra and Trapeze

This class uses several different types of Lyra to provide you with a fun way to fly! Developing healthy habits from the start, we will focus on hollow body, pelvic tilt, and shoulder alignment so as to maintain a positive long term relationship with Lyra. This class covers the basics but will also help you evolve strong and well thought out dynamic movements. My goal is to bring you into a deeper connection to your body as you develop a safe, mindful aerial practice.

Let us show you the ropes of this quintessential circus act! In this class we will show you the basics of moving on and around the single point trapeze in a safe supportive environment. Once you have mastered the foundations of this classic circus apparatus, we will introduce tricks above and below the bar, and in the ropes. Bars are hung low (4-7 feet). No experience required, we welcome all fitness levels, shapes, and sizes.
