Drop In Classes: Straps and Rope
- Beginner Straps - Devin Bayly
Mondays 6:45pm to 8pm
Join and discover the raw beautiful apparatus that is the fusion of gymnastics rings and aerial dance. In this class students will have the chance to condition their upper bodies and build flexibility while exploring basic static and dynamic positions of straps. Prerequisites: be able to invert body, hang with engaged shoulder for 20 secs, hold a bent arm hang for 20 secs (top of pull up), hold plank for 40 secs.
- Beginner Rope - Devin Bayly
Thursdays 6:45pm to 8pm
In this series, we will learn rope specific climbs, tricks, and movements. We will then progress on to entry level rope drops once these foundations are established. This class will focus on building the technique and strength required to find success on this apparatus. Prerequisites: Climb to the top on both sides, invert in the air and do a windmill hip key in the air.
